YEAR II CONFIRMATION RETREAT 2004
PINE SUMMIT
WELL YEAH I WANTED TO WRITE ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AT RETREAT. I LOVED BEING IN THAT PLACE FULL OF PEACE AND JOY. I WAS WITH PPL WHO I LOVE SO MUCH. BEING AT PINE SUMMIT WAS MY PARADISE. I DIDN’T WANT TO LEAVE AFTER SATURDAY NIGHT IT WAS THE BEST, I REALLY ENJOYED IT. WHEN WE HAD GOTTEN THERE I WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. I WAS ABLE TO LET GO OF A LOT OF PAIN I WAS HOLDING IN FOR A LONG TIME. WE HAD OUR TALKS AND FREE TIME. ONE THING THAT MADE IT FUN WAS THE SNOW FALL. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. WELL YEAH SATURDAY WAS THE NIGHT I REALLY LET MY PAIN GO. I WAS HURT FOR A LONG TIME, NEVER COULD RECOVER. THERE WAS SO MUCH DRAMA WITH ME AND MY OTHER FRIENDS. ONCE WE HAD OUR PRAYER I WAS TRULY TOUCHED. HAHA TO BE HONEST I CRIED NON-STOP FROM LIKE I THINK 6:30 TO 9. WELL YEAH THE ONE THING THAT REALLY GOT TO ME WAS SEEING 2 OF MY BEST FRIENDS MAKE UP AFTER A LONG TIME OF NO TALKING TO ONE ANOTHER. I JUST BROKE DOWN RIGHT THERE. BUT NO WORRIES THOSE WERE TEARS OF JOY. THEN IT WAS MY TURN I HAD GONE UP TO SO MANY PPL. I HAD CRIED BECAUSE I WAS HAPPY THAT GOD HELPED ME. I THANK CARLOS AND TRACEY MY ALTER-LEADERS. THEY WERE THERE FOR MYGROUP WHEN MY LEADERS WERENT. I UNDERSTAND THAT MY LEADERS HAD PRIOR ENGAGEMENTS TO ATTEND TO ITS ALRIGHT. WELL YEAH I THANK THOSE 2 FOR LISTENING TO ME AND BEING THERE FOR ME AT RETREAT. I THANK MY GROUP (BUBBA, MEL, SUSIE, TONYA, ARMAS) AND TO CARLOS’ GROUP (KAT, CARLO, JAMIE, ERIC, JONATHAN). THEY ALL LISTENED TO ME AND WERE THERE FOR ME. THEY KNEW THAT THIS RETREAT MEANT A LOT TO ME. ONCE I HAD THE FORGIVENESS PRAYER I REALIZED THAT THE LORD GAVE ME THE COURAGE/STRENGTH AND FORTITUDE I NEEDED. I SERIOUSLY GIVE MY LOVE TO HIM. THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS WITH ME THAT NIGHT. THE SPIRIT GAVE ME STRENGTH TO GO UP TO MY FRIENDS AND FORGIVE THEM. ONCE IT WAS OVER WE ALL HUNG AROUND AND SANG AND DANCED. FUN STUFF…I KNOW THAT RETREAT HAD A BIG AFFECT ON EVERYONE AND CAUSED US TO BE MORE OPEN. I SAW PPL THAT NEVER SAID A WORD LAST YEAR CUZ THEY WERE UNHAPPY AT CONFO, BECOME SO OPEN AND HAPPY. WHEN I GOT ON THAT BUS TOWARDS LA, I REALIZED IT WAS BAK TO THE REAL LIFE. BRIAN WAS RIGHT THAT GOD IS TESTING US HERE IN THE REAL WORLD. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS WE ALL MUST REMEMBER THAT OUR FAMILY IS HERE. THE THINGS I HAD EXPERIENCED BEFORE RETREAT REALLY HAD ME DOUBT MY FAITH BECAUSE I WAS FEELING SO MUCH PAIN. HOWEVER, NOW IT’S DIFFERENT. THIS RETREAT REALLY ENCOURAGED ME TO CONSIDER BECOMING A LEADER. I LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF IT. AFTER THIS BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT MY FAITH IS STRONGER AND I THANK GOD FOR THAT.

of last month was on FEBUARY 12, 2004...I sang @ ERHS for the HIP HOP SHOW!!! OMG!!! that was friggin awesome I had da best time. At first i didnt knwo about it 
until CHA signed me up for it cuz she said they needed more singers so I was up for it but I was a lil hesitant...not with the singing cuz i'LL sing anywhere but the fact that i didnt go to ERHS and im performing der but CHA explained to me that its aite. But sers wen I was up there I felt dat rush that i always felt wen i was singing in front of a crowd. When they all started clapping to the beat I was so happy that everyone was enjoying. From wat CHA tells me she said she knew I had the best time cuz of that BIG SMILE 
on my face haha. I was so happy that i got to perform and dat everyone liked it. All the other performers did well too the dancing was awesome I wanted to learn haha. Honestly I was surprised by someone I didnt knoe he could BUST OUT w/ da moves like dat haha I agree with the ppl who know him he is talented. But yeah the show was cOoL...my hommay CHA got her propz for dancing her lil toosh off and I got my props from ERHS pplz for da singing. Man if i had another chance to do it I would. I know this may sound cheesy but at that point i knew dat was what I wanted to do with the rest of my LIFE and that is SINGING...& DANCING although i didnt dance I mean I still LOVE IT. haha but yeah I had the BEST TIME and i know the rest of the ppl involved did too. haha I know that i sounded a bit like wierd but im serious I LOVE SINGING AND DANCING WITH A PASSION 
and iunno but wen i sang at ERHS' HIP HOP SHOW I finally realized it haha dang isnt that a surprise. haha. So yeah I do believe that LIFE is full of surprises haha. I say to everyone if you got something that you are good at...GOD gave you that talent to share with the world. So go share it but remember wen you reach that high point dont forget about where you came from. Dreams are what make life great and causes a person to strive to achieve that dream. Ya'll are dreamers GO make them dreams come true
